Journal of Researches in Linguistics
Journal of Researches in Linguistics (JRL) has a theoretical, descriptive and analytical orientation with a focus on the Persian language and Iranian Languages. The papers must be based on current traditions of linguistics. This means that the submitted manuscripts must include the relevant sections to address issues such as statement of question, theoretical framework, method of investigation, analysis and discussion as well as conclusion. The papers must also follow the scientific conventions practiced by linguists. JRL publishes articles and reviews from different areas of Persian linguistics: syntax, semantics, morphology, phonology, phonetics, and pragmatics. In addition, it accepts articles and reviews from neighboring disciplines such as sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, translation studies and language acquisition. However, JRL will NOT accept papers with a pedagogical orientation. It also publishes occasional and special issues and welcomes proposals for them.
